Spring Call for Applications
YES Bridge Research Fellowship – Poland is a 12-month research and mentorship program designed by Young Entrepreneurs Society (YES) to support undergraduate and graduate students in Poland who are currently in the thesis stage of their studies.
The program connects academic research with civil society and the real sector, encouraging young researchers to produce applied, impact-oriented knowledge. YES aims not only to support individual academic development, but also to strengthen young people’s active engagement in professional and social ecosystems.
Each term, two fellows are selected and receive mentorship, research support, and facilitated access to networks and field connections.
Program Vision
YES Bridge Research Fellowship builds a bridge between academia and practice. The program:
- supports the career development of young researchers
- encourages original and applicable research
- strengthens collaboration between academia and civil society
- contributes to knowledge production relevant to the real sector
- promotes the development of qualified young talent
The program’s core philosophy is that research should not remain theoretical, but create real-world impact.
Research Topics
For the 2026–2027 cycle, research is limited to the following thesis topics:
- The Role of Empowerment and Self-Efficacy in Entrepreneurial Intention of Young Women
- Perceived Gaps in Mentorship and Support Ecosystems for Young Women Entrepreneurs: A Qualitative Study
Applicants may:
- select one topic
or - select both topics
If both topics are selected, the YES Board reserves the right to determine which research focus will be supported.
This structure ensures alignment with program priorities and academic quality.
Program Support
Each fellow receives a total research grant of 2,400 PLN, distributed as follows:

1,000 PLN upon acceptance into the program

1,000 PLN after the mid-term evaluation

400 PLN upon submission and approval of the final thesis/report
In addition, fellows benefit from:

Eligibility
Applicants must:
- be enrolled in a university in Poland
- be undergraduate or graduate students
- be in the thesis stage
- be willing to work on one of the designated research topics
Timeline
- Applications: February – March 2026
- Evaluation & Interviews: April 2026
- Orientation: May 2026
- Research Period: June – November 2026
- Final Report & Presentation: December 2026 – January 2027
