We are pleased to announce that Young Entrepreneurs Society (YES) has successfully secured funding for its new youth project under the Erasmus+ Programme. The project, titled HERpreneur – A Comprehensive Program for Removing Barriers, Equipping Young Women Entrepreneurs with Skills, and Building a Supportive Network, has been approved within the framework of Erasmus+ Youth Cooperation Partnerships (KA220-YOU).
The HERpreneur project will be implemented over a period of 18 months with a total budget of EUR 120,000. It focuses on addressing the structural, social, and economic barriers faced by young women entrepreneurs, while promoting gender equality, active citizenship, and youth entrepreneurship. A key priority of the project is to strengthen access to entrepreneurial opportunities for young women from disadvantaged backgrounds, including migrants and refugees.
The project is coordinated by YES and will be carried out in cooperation with partner organizations from Poland, Spain, and Türkiye. Bringing together expertise in youth work, entrepreneurship, coaching, digital learning, and academic research, the partnership forms a strong and complementary consortium. This international collaboration will ensure that the project’s tools and outcomes are transferable, scalable, and applicable across different European contexts.
Within the scope of HERpreneur, a range of activities will be implemented, including barrier analysis for young women entrepreneurs, the development of entrepreneurship and digital skills training programs and guides, hands-on bootcamp activities, mentoring sessions, and the creation of an online networking platform called HERConnect. All activities will be designed using non-formal education methods, with a strong emphasis on active participation and experiential learning.
Supported by the Erasmus+ Programme, the HERpreneur project aims to empower young women to take more visible, confident, and sustainable roles in economic and social life. The approval of this project represents an important milestone for YES and reflects our growing capacity and experience in delivering high-quality international youth projects.
