On Tuesday, October 28, an Interview Prep session was held at CIC Warsaw as part of the project “Empowering Migrant Women: Bridging Digital Skills and Career Opportunities.” The event aimed to support participants in preparing for one of the most critical stages of the job search process: the interview.
Organized within the framework of the project supported by the European Solidarity Corps, the session focused on strengthening participants’ self-confidence, stress management skills, and professional communication abilities.
The workshop was led by Marta Mulik-Walczyna, a Career Coach and Educational Management Specialist with a background in psychology. Drawing on her professional experience, Marta guided participants through practical strategies to manage interview-related stress, communicate their strengths effectively, and remain calm under pressure. Participants engaged in hands-on exercises focused on answering common interview questions, presenting their skills clearly, and building confidence in professional settings.
An important aspect of this project activity was the creation of a safe and supportive learning environment. Participants were encouraged to reflect on their own strengths and areas for development while gaining a deeper understanding of how stress affects performance. The techniques shared during the session were designed to be applicable not only in interviews but also throughout participants’ broader professional lives.
The session was conducted in an open and interactive format, encouraging questions, experience-sharing, and peer learning. It attracted participants who were preparing for job interviews, considering career transitions, or seeking to strengthen their professional communication skills.
As one of the activities implemented within the project, the Interview Prep session contributed to the overall goal of enhancing participants’ employability and empowering them to take confident steps in their career journeys. We would like to thank everyone who participated and helped create an engaging and supportive learning experience.
